How Pluralsight created differentiated messaging and practical field resources that connect workforce readiness with AWS priorities and customer outcomes.
Client Vision and Objective
Pluralsight helps organizations build the technology skills and workforce capabilities needed to turn strategic investments into business outcomes. As its work with AWS continued to evolve, the Pluralsight team saw an opportunity to sharpen how that value was communicated to AWS sellers, partner teams, and customers.
The objective was clear: establish a differentiated position that presented Pluralsight as a business application driving enterprise readiness, while giving AWS-facing teams a consistent, practical way to carry that story into the field. The messaging also needed to reflect the format, language, and priorities that AWS teams use every day.
“For me, it was about having updated messaging that really reflects our position as a business application to support enterprise readiness and workforce transformations...and to have that consistency throughout our field assets and seller briefs.”
The Opportunity and Challenge
Pluralsight already had a strong platform, relevant customer examples, and a compelling role in helping organizations build the technology skills and workforce capabilities needed to advance their priorities. The opportunity was to connect those elements in a way that made the value immediately clear to AWS account teams.
Without a unified story, teams risked inconsistent positioning and missed opportunities to show how workforce readiness contributes to broader AWS priorities. A Pluralsight transaction through AWS Marketplace can create near-term value while also helping customers build the skills required to adopt, use, and expand AWS services over time. Making that connection clear was essential to stronger account-team alignment and more strategic customer conversations.
The Engagement: What We Did Together
Over six months, Pluralsight and Grow Strategic Consulting worked collaboratively to translate Pluralsight’s strengths into a cohesive AWS-focused messaging and enablement system. Weekly working sessions created space to test ideas, incorporate feedback, and ensure the final materials were grounded in both Pluralsight’s business strategy and the realities of AWS field engagement.
Together, the teams:
Built the messaging that connected Pluralsight’s enterprise-readiness story to three AWS-relevant priorities: migration and modernization, security and governance, and AI and emerging technologies, supported by measurement and readiness insights.
Created an AWS Field Ready Kit with an AWS-Pluralsight one-pager, seller talk track and discovery questions, first-call deck, customer proof points, and an AWS seller brief.
Refined proof points and use cases to help sellers understand where Pluralsight can deliver the most value across industries, accounts, and strategic technology initiatives.
Updated AWS Partner Solution Finder copy to align Pluralsight’s AWS presence with the refreshed positioning and customer evidence.
Centralized the resources so the Pluralsight team could easily share, maintain, and activate the full set of materials.
The Pluralsight team brought deep knowledge of its customers, platform, and AWS relationships to every stage of the work. That active partnership helped ensure the messaging was not only polished, but useful in real conversations.
“Grow Strategic Consulting understands how to speak to AWS, so they could really jumpstart our efforts to make sure that we got up to speed very quickly and professionally.”
Outcomes and Impact
The engagement gave Pluralsight a clear foundation and a set of field-ready tools that could move directly into seller and customer conversations. Rather than rebuilding the story for each audience or opportunity, the team can now draw from shared messaging, proof points, discovery questions, and presentation materials.
That consistency is helping Pluralsight accelerate alignment with AWS contacts and internal sales leaders. The first-call deck and supporting materials make it easier to explain how Pluralsight delivers value, where it fits, and which customer examples best support the conversation.
The work is also helping expand the scope of those discussions. By connecting workforce readiness to AWS account priorities and downstream adoption of AWS services, Pluralsight is better positioned for broader, more strategic conversations rather than isolated business-unit opportunities.
“It’s enabling us to have bigger conversations...versus one-off, two-off type business unit conversations.”
Just as importantly, the engagement created a positive working rhythm. Clear expectations, steady collaboration, and responsiveness enabled the teams to keep moving while adapting the work as needs evolved.
“Our experience with Grow Strategic Consulting was seamless and flawless. Patty led the engagement with professionalism, delivered on every commitment, and went above and beyond our expectations.”
Looking Forward
Pluralsight now has a durable messaging foundation and a practical toolkit that can continue supporting AWS engagement. The materials are now integrated into internal content systems, updating the AWS Partner Solution Finder presence, and equipping sellers to use the resources consistently across active opportunities.
Looking ahead, the same foundation can support future AWS campaigns, Marketplace motions, industry plays, account planning, and major moments such as AWS re:Invent. It can also evolve as Pluralsight’s customer stories, product capabilities, and go-to-market priorities grow.
The opportunity is larger than a single set of assets. With a differentiated story in AWS language and clear evidence of how workforce readiness supports customer and AWS outcomes, Pluralsight is well positioned to help more organizations connect technology investment with the people and skills needed to realize its full value.
“If organizations are struggling to find their differentiated value message, this is a great way for them to hone in and expand on what they already have, or completely rewrite and realign that differentiated value message.”
